Test Yourself

For most subjects doing practice exam questions is a great way to revise. Remember to ask your teacher which exam board you are studying.

There are a few ways to do this:

  • Open book: have a look at the exam question and then use your notes to answer the questions. This helps build confidence and can help you work on your exam technique.

  • Using the mark scheme: most exam boards will have mark schemes for the papers available. Why not have a look at the exam paper and the mark scheme together? Or why not try creating your own mark scheme for the question paper?

  • Close book: do this in exam conditions and time yourself. This is a great way to see how much you know and can help you decide what you need to revise further once you have completed it.

  • Ask your teacher for help with marking it.
