How Will I be Assessed?

There is no exam this year.

All your marks will be based on your portfolio of work. For both art and photography, we do not do revision, BUT . . . you are expected to continuously work toward producing your portfolio of work.

You must complete at least 3 hours per week as homework/extra study. You should be doing this, alongside attending every lesson and lunchtime clubs, from now until April. See your teacher for more details.

Remember you will be marked on the following:

A01 Research

Develop ideas through investigations, demonstrating critical understanding of sources.

A02 Materials

Refine work by exploring ideas, selecting and experimenting with appropriate media, materials, techniques and processes.

A03 Skills and annotation

Record ideas, observations and insights relevant to intentions as work progresses.

A04 Final outcome

Present a personal and meaningful response that realises intentions and demonstrates understanding of visual language.
