Read and re-read play scripts, and learn your lines in good time so that you can focus on vocal and physical expression and character interpretation
Learn the vocabulary list (below) so that you’re always using key drama terminology in your written work
In writing, use the LINK-WHAT-WHY structure: LINK to a quote or key moment, explain WHAT you did (or will do) using drama language, and, in detail, explain WHY – what do / did you want the audience to think, feel or understand?
