Retrieval Practice

Creating mind maps is a technique that many students find effective when revising. Add the main subject to the centre of your piece of paper and branch off information in all directions. Each linked idea may have further information or ideas branching from them. Both words and images can be used when creating a mind map. Mind maps should be concise and cover 1 side of paper only. This will allow you to see all the information at a glance.
