How Will I Know the Specific Areas I Need to Work On? How Do I Ensure I Am Not Revising What I Know Already?

Use your mock exams and specific feedback you have received from your teacher to identify the areas that you need to improve. Ask your teacher for feedback from your mock test scores.

If you are still struggling please see your teacher.

Best Method of Revision?

  1. Specification, Knowledge organisers, Revision Guides: Use the below resources to make revision notes, mind maps or flashcards. This should take up no more than 15-20 minutes of each session.

  2. Retrieval Roulette: Use the mnemonics for each pre-production document to test yourself and your friends. Make quizzes based on the questions and look at the answers.

  3. Past paper questions: Complete lots of past paper questions. Then mark them using the mark scheme. You will learn subject knowledge as well as how the examiners want you to respond.

  4. Required Practical's: Learn the required pre-production documents thoroughly. They will be on the exam. Complete the Google Classrooms lessons provided.

How Can Parents Help?

  • Each week, ask your child to show you the past paper questions that they have completed and marked.

  • Ask your child to complete the R093 revision lessons on Google Classrooms. Check to see if they have been completed to a good standard.
