Use the red FP&N revision Guide and exam workbook that you were given in year 10. Use feedback from exams and reports to highlight the areas that YOU need to improve.

Best Method of Revision?
Specification, Knowledge organisers, Revision Guides: Use these resources to make revision notes, mind maps or flashcards. Do not spend more than 20 minutes per session.
Enhanced revision work booklets: Work through the enhanced subject booklets, on One Drive, which will increase and improve understanding and recall.
Past Paper questions: Complete weekly past paper questions. Mark them using the Marking scheme as this will allow you to see what a good answer includes and what the examiners expect.
Practical focus: Practice your recipe skills and techniques in order to build confidence, control time management and display high level abilities to succeed and achieve your best.

How Can Parents Help?
Ask your child to see their CGP Food Preparation & Nutrition Revision Guide and ask the end of topic questions. (answers at back of book)
Each week ask your child to see their Lesson 7 revision booklet. Check to see it is complete and identify areas that need to improve.
Use the revision booklets to ask simple questions and more complex questions that require reasons.
Remind your child that Seneca website has plenty of online questions to answer. Log in and save your progress.
